Idea for a new Feature: Images for Downloads in the Download System?

I am having trouble updating from 101 to 106
Process:
disable extenstion. Upload new files, Enable again. Works, but I had a fatal error when clicking on the ACP->User Guide.
disable extension. "delete data". Enable again. Now I get this error.
I have 3.1.10 running.
Do you have any other ideas what I could try? Thanks!

Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to set permissions for different categories.

Category 1 ]> phpbb related = only users in the phpbb group have access
Category 2 ]> Beer related = only users in the beer group have access

etc.....



EDIT:
Okay...I can go through each group and set if they have access to the d/l system or not. The problem I'm having is if i give both groups above access then they both can see the other category. The phpbb group can see the beer d/l's and the other way around.

How many groups are these members in? A member of each of those groups may be in the registered user group also. Not only set one group permission to a catigory... also set permission to No on that catigory for the other groups they are associated with together.

I think I understand what your saying here and I did try this and was unable to get the outcome I was looking for. Also in the announcement option it can only be configured for one forum. (( the part where you input the forum ID )) Great looking ext. but I do not think it's able to do what I was looking for. Better off to wait and see what comes out in future updates :)

Then instead of setting permission on just the catigory for a given group, set the same permission on each of the forums in that catigory.

I would figure setting permission on a catigory would hide all the forums in that catigory. But maybe that's not how it works.

That module is not used anymore, delete it in ACP under Module management.
