Or, we did not need to clean the sub-dir, because it may be reused.

I thought again, cron is not a good solotion. we could just check the parent dir if a file has been removed. then, we check the parent dir is empty or not,
and loop until we reached the parent dir named 'img-files', we stop the checking.

Did the PR on Github, will update the extension download also here.
I think Cron is also not the good option, parent dir checking is indeed the better option to check and remove. will check it also.

if you want not to lose your previous picutes just don't delete date and upload current version,then delete folder img-files and re-name folder files to img-files

Just incase you get lost on your trip to first post il put it here.
Note: Keep in mind if you update the old images still will be in files folder, so url to those images will point to files folder. just leave the files folder so they wont break. I did empty the db image_upload table so no broken images are shown in UCP and ACP. And it will start again when uploading files. This is only when you have already installed this extension

well i need to leave name of the folder files and also leave folder img-files

I did as note says but it's broken images (old) in ACP and UCP

If you did as it says then it will work these exts are tested b4 you get them.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post! Maybe your post count is too low.
