I'm sorry, Martin, I didn't mean to offend you, so please accept my sincere apology.

Of course, I'm pretty sure it works for most people ! I have installed a lot of extensions from this site, and I'm clearly happy with them. Really !

What I expressed is hours and hours of testing and nothing worked as I hoped. If the new user (i.e. me, for testing) received the welcome email correctly, thus confirming emailing works perfectly on my board, I never had as administrator that damned email.

My main purpose is to have admin confirmation on registration validated by an administrator. But it doesn't work on my board and I don't know why, that was, because of hours of frustrating failure, why I sent my messages here. I checked on different forums and I saw I wasn't the only one experimenting this problem with this basic feature.

By the way, I must admit I discovered it's a core function with admin validation.

Once again, I didn't mean to be rude and please accept my apologies.

Do you have any clue, please? I must admit I have around 70 active extensions on my board...

P.S. May be you should delete your images because there are some private email address of users from your board

Some news.

Today, I created a brand new board from scratch and I installed all the extensions I have (about 70) and each time I checked if emails were sent. Loooooong job. Finally, I found where was the problem: the extension Htmlemail from Forumhulp was messing all our notifications by email.

What’s strange is that I had disabled this extension a lot earlier, without any change, therefore I thought the problem was elsewere. As soon as I deleted the data of this extension, email started to be sent normally.

Thank you for your help, and once again sorry.

Thanks dmzx for the help this extension has given me over the years.

Have you planned to update the extension and make it compatible with phpBB 3.3 ?

Hey. Now many people are using social networks, how to add an alert for social networks. At the moment, registration only works directly through the forum!

If you add social networks, then the extension will be truly complete, on my site more than half is registered through the extension ULogin!
