I wouldn't know but there must be a lot of time and work involved in making a Shop ext. for Ultimate Points because people have been waiting years for it.

An Idea would be to setup a donation section specifically for the Shop ext.
I think mostly everyone that uses the Ultimate Points ext. would donate towards it (increasing donations)

I haven't seen anywhere that it is being worked on but ounce people see that it's in the works i'm sure the donations will start coming in.

In my case, I would like a Shop Extension to be a Shop module for Ultimate Points.

I believe some things could be purchasable as shop items.

Groups -> ADM could create groups to be purchased. These groups could be cosmetic, for example, just to change the color of the user's name (as groups already do). Or ADM could even sell permissions through these groups with Ultimate Points. A group that has specific access to a forum and can be purchased with Ultimate Points.

Avatars -> Another idea was "exclusive Avatars". There could be a separate folder for Avatars (inside the extension folder) that could be purchased (and used). This would give more cosmetic options in the store.

Avatar Borders -> Other cosmetic options could be Avatar Borders. I haven't seen if there is an extension that adds profile borders. But it would be interesting if it did. It would be even more interesting if the profile border followed the Rank. Thus, you could combine the Rank image (for example, a red image) with the red profile border (or customized with png, if the forum avatars are of a defined size. This way, ADM could upload profile borders as png images of the right size and that could be bought in the store).

Post Borders/Headers -> Post borders could also be purchasable. There is an extension called Colored Post Header. There could be a module (or separate extension that could be integrated) that would do something similar, adding not only color, but also some png image that the ADM could place, to serve as a border (and could be purchased with Ultimate Points as well).

Integration with Profile Flair -> An additional idea would be integration with Profile Flairs, for example, the possibility of buying Flairs. Since ranks in phpBB are limited (and I wanted to use them as medals, but they are limited to display on the profile), it would be cool to integrate the possibility of buying Flairs.

Profile Flairs is an extension that would go perfectly with Ultimate Points, simply by adding the option to buy Flairs that already exist. This way, you could buy from the store with Points to display on your profile.

Acess to Shop -> For the Shop Module, the store could be accessed either through a topic (transformed into a store) if the ADM wants to highlight it, or through the Points menu in the top menu of the site. (the one that shows the number of Points you have).

There are 2 tabs inside: Overview, Information -> and the Shop tab could be added here.

Because of this menu, I think it would be intuitive for the user to arrive and find the store whenever they wanted to see details of their points.

Shop Appearence -> The Store could be customizable, being able to show items in a Grid or in a List. It could also show a photo of a salesperson (like an Avatar) that ADM could change and customize to be the "store salesperson", who could perhaps even speak randomly personalized phrases (in balloons).The seller's location could also be customized (so as not to conflict with the user's Avatar position on the forum, as some Forums use an avatar on the right side and others on the left side)

These are my ideas for Ultimate Points, which is a wonderful extension and can be improved even more.
