3.3.x Extensions Database 3.2 / 3.3 ⇒ Watermark

This extension has a conflict with phpbb site maker extension.
"template no has alias, maybe blitze.sitemaker.template has the term."

Any idea how to fix?

I tested the extension but somehow it doesn't work.

I installed the ext. I even created an image with a transparent background and white lettering. but when I upload an image using a file attachment nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong or do I need an extension from you to upload images?

Orientation is 2 default Mine is set to 1 - Drop yours down to 1 or 2 and see if it works.

I just installed this on 3.3.11 and it works fine. Clear your cache refresh your browser.
Or your dso_karten.png image want read.

So I reinstalled again and left the default settings. without success. If I upload a picture as a file attachment in the post, nothing happens. It doesn't matter whether I set the value to 1 or 2.

The settings now:

I then uploaded it as an image. white font and transparent background. It's black in the picture but is actually transparent.

File attachments give error when Waterkmark is enable.

OK, now I've managed to get the watermark working. My mistake was that I hadn't activated the php extension GD on my local server. You should probably check it in the ACP and display a warning in the ACP if the gd extension is deactivated.

Furthermore, would it be possible to add permissions to the extension so that it is possible to select the forums where the watermark is placed?

Hi, is it possible to get this to work on previously uploaded attachments? Or have I done something wrong? Also found a weird glitch on our forum. Unless you slightly rotate the watermark, it leaves a border around it the size of the watermarked image. Rotating it gets rid of it so only the logo shows. Using 3.3.15 here.

@JonQArbuckle, this watermark extension has to be enabled when you upload an image to have the watermark added to it.
No it can not put a watermark on all of your previous images. They would have to be deleted and uploaded again.
I do not get that border you refer to. Maybe try another watermark image and see if that border still shows.

@cbm, you can not fix that. A watermark image is not an animated image. Look up the definition of a watermark image.

How do I configure the extension so that it does not watermark animated GIF files but works normally on other image files?

This extension would be great for my board if it would also add a watermark in a .pdf. Guess that's not possible (yet) ?
